Al Capone’s Cocktail of Choice

Southside is a citrusy, masculine bar soap inspired by the cocktail famously tied to Al Capone. Lime, lemon, and orange give it a sparkling citrus opening, while a clean ozone note keeps it fresh. Agave greens and tropical florals add depth through the middle, with musk and sandalwood settling into a smooth, masculine finish.

Made with kaolin clay for excellent lather and added slickness, Southside gives you a smooth wash with a bright cocktail scent and a little underworld charm.

The History: The Southside cocktail has a disputed origin. Some tie the name to Chicago’s South Side, where Al Capone’s gang held power during Prohibition. Others point to the Southside Sportsmen’s Club on Long Island. Either way, the drink became linked to Capone lore, making it a natural fit for a bar inspired by the rougher side of cocktail history.

For those who appreciate legendary taste, because if it was good enough for Capone, it is good enough for your shower.

All-natural oils. Palm oil and Mica are responsibly and sustainably sourced. 

Traditionally made bars of cold processed soap are best when used with a soap dish that allows the bar to dry or air out. Avoid leaving in standing water.
