This bar soap is expertly crafted from a combination of fragrance and essential oils, resulting in a scent that is powerful and enduring. Its distinctive bouquet comprises star anise, fennel, and verdant herbal notes for the top notes, melissa, cinnamon, and nutmeg for the mid notes, and a base of amber and woody notes.
This bar soap is made with Shea Butter, which is an excellent moisturizer for the skin. Perfect for dry skin. Also included are steel-cut rolled oats that provide mild exfoliation. Absinthe is best used on the body in the shower or as hand soap.

Cocktail History
The U.S. Department of Agriculture banned absinthe in 1912. The ban was issued in response to the Temperance League's lobbying against absinthe. The league was concerned about the high rate of alcohol-related crime and false claims that absinthe made people hallucinate or "go crazy".
The U.S. Pure Food Board called absinthe "one of the worst enemies of man." The ban laid the groundwork for American Prohibition, which was enacted seven years later.
